Alo Nutrition is a team of Registered Dietitians specializing in eating disorders and general medical nutrition therapy. We provide weight-inclusive, compassionate care that supports individuals in building a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food. We blend clinical expertise with a warm, collaborative style so you feel supported wherever you are in your journey.
Our work emphasizes nourishment, connection, and sustainable progress. We honor your lived experience and walk alongside you as you move toward steadier relationships with food and health

Our one-on-one sessions offer a collaborative space to talk through what eating has looked like lately - the wins, the challenges, and everything in between. We explore patterns you’re noticing, the moments that feel hard, and the places where food brings stress or confusion. Instead of rigid plans or numbers, we focus on practical ideas that fit your real life and help eating feel more manageable. Our dietitians bring curiosity, compassion, and a down-to-earth approach to each session, working with your pace and your lived experience. Together, we look for small shifts that support more consistent nourishment and a better day-to-day relationship with food.

Our groups offer a low-pressure space to talk about what’s coming up with food alongside others who get it. Each group has a specific focus, and conversations may include meal challenges, food rules, emotions, or weekly sticking points. Hearing others name things you’ve gone through can be helpful, and group work adds connection and support between your individual sessions.

Our nutrition coaching service offers consistent check-ins between your appointments through secure messaging. You can log meals, experiences, emotions, and challenges, and receive individualized feedback from one of our dietitians to help you follow through on goals set during your introductory call. Tiered options allow for extended availability so you can get support when you need it most.
Alo Nutrition is built on connection, collaboration, and a weight-inclusive approach to care. Here’s what sets our team apart:
We take the time to understand your lived experience and what eating looks like in real life — not an idealized version of it. Every recommendation comes from a place of respect, curiosity, and genuine collaboration.
You won’t find calorie goals, macros, or rigid meal plans here. Our approach is grounded in flexibility and sustainability, helping you move away from food stress without tracking or rules.
Whether you’re navigating an eating disorder, inconsistent eating patterns, or general nutrition concerns, we focus on practical steps you can actually implement — not one-size-fits-all solutions.
Our work centers body trust, autonomy, and nonjudgmental support. We honor each person’s story and aim to make nutrition counseling feel more approachable and less overwhelming.
1. Complete Our Admission Questionnaire
Let us know what you’re hoping to work on in nutrition counseling, which insurance plan you have, your state(s) of residence, and any preferences for your dietitian or location.
2. Submit the Admission Paperwork
After we review the questionnaire, you’ll receive your intake forms to complete online, including insurance information, demographics, medical history, and consent forms.
3. Get Matched and Schedule Your Appointment
We’ll match you with a dietitian based on your needs, availability, and preferences, and you’ll receive their calendar to book your first session virtually or in person.
Our team brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to nutrition counseling. Each dietitian is trained in eating disorders, disordered eating, and weight-inclusive care, and we work collaboratively to support you in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. Get to know our providers below.

Please reach out to us at hello@alo-nutrition.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Your first appointment is a chance for you and your dietitian to get to know each other and start understanding what eating has been like for you. We’ll review the information you shared in your admission paperwork, talk through your current eating patterns, explore what’s feeling difficult, and discuss your goals or concerns.
The session is conversational and collaborative, with your dietitian offering guidance and direction to help you leave with one or two small, realistic goals to focus on before your next visit.
Because nutrition counseling is an ongoing process, we won’t be able to gather every detail or solve everything in one session. This first appointment sets the stage for repeated, weekly work that allows you to make meaningful progress over time.
Both initial appointments and follow-up appointments are scheduled for 55 minutes.
If you’re unable to attend the full appointment time, please reschedule so you can get the most out of your session.
Yes. We work with clients ages 12 and up.
Adolescents and pre-teens should have a parent or guardian present for the first appointment so we can gather background information and set up support in a collaborative way.
We work with clients ages 12 and up.
Yes. We offer virtual appointments through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform and are licensed in multiple states (see our state dropdown for details).
Please note that your dietitian must be licensed in the state you are physically located in at the time of the appointment.
We ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You can do this directly through your online account up to 24 hours before your session. Please do not email or call our general office line for cancellations, as those messages may not reach your dietitian in time.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $120 fee. A no-show is defined as not arriving within 15 minutes of your scheduled start time. Because insurance does not reimburse for missed appointments, these fees are the client’s responsibility and will be charged to the card on file
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to work with us. Many people reach out because eating feels confusing, stressful, inconsistent, or harder than it used to.
Others come in with a mix of medical concerns, dieting history, or questions about whether their patterns are something to worry about.
Our dietitians can help you sort through what’s going on and provide a level of support that’s right for you. You're welcome here whether you’re navigating an eating disorder, feeling unsure, or simply wanting a more peaceful relationship with food.
